Irene is the owner and founder of Fairytale Italy Weddings. She started working in the tourism business in 2008, while she was still studying Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures in Florence University (she can fluently speak English, French, Spanish and a little bit of Russian), when a hotel in Florence was looking for a receptionist and she said “yes”. From that time, she has always worked in 4 and 5 stars hotels and in 2014 she became Events Manager in one of them. She used to organize many private events, but weddings captured her attention: to her they are exciting, imaginative and unique, everyone is so different from each other. Few years ago she realised she had to follow her heart; that’s why she ended up as a Destination Wedding Planner and took advantage of her professional and organisational skills to found Fairytale Italy Weddings.

Thanks to her experience and knowledge, Irene offers consulting to fellow wedding planners and online training and coaching to future ones.

Empathy and understanding are essential for a happy (and sometimes everlasting) relationship with our clients and for a distinctive, successful event; planning your wedding will be stimulating and challenging to us but relaxed and serene at the same time. At the end of the wedding day, watching how every piece has smoothly come together, receiving a big hug from the bride or special thanks from the groom and guests (or even emails, messages or cards few days after the marriage saying “You are a star”, “I can’t thank you enough”), makes us feel so proud and grateful of working with you.
