Wedding at Villa Cipressi

Yes, Villa Cipressi basically hosts one wedding every year from May to October. It’s one of the most popular venues for weddings in Lake Como and it’s one of our favourite ones honestly!

The venue is a beautiful 4-stars hotel in Varenna and it’s also a botanical garden with many international plants and trees. Moreover, in our opinion it has one of the best views on the lake.

This year we were lucky enough to plan two weddings at Villa Cipressi and we’d love to be back there in the near future!

The first wedding was in June. The ceremony was actually at Villa Monastero, another botanical garden located just 3 minutes walking from Hotel Villa Cipressi. After it, the aperitivo, dinner and party were at Villa Cipressi. Aperitivo and dinner happened outside, in the stunning terraces with lake view. It was a small wedding but it was so sweet and intimate. Our British couple flew an iconic band from the UK, had a boat ride and fireworks at the end of the event to make their wedding at Villa Cipressi memorable.

The second one happened in late August and sadly we were not so lucky with the weather. In fact, it rained all day long and we had to reschedule everything inside. Anyway, the indoor areas are still comfortable for 50 guests and our US couple had a beautiful wedding at Villa Cipressi in any case. Luckily, they were able to take some pictures and they were amazing, even with some rain drops.
